One FC 23 Weigh-ins: Bibiano Fernandes, Dae Hwan Kim Cleared for 135-Pound Title Bout

The One Fighting Championship 23 main event will move forward as planned, as both Bibiano Fernandes and Dae Hwan Kim made weight for their banamweight title tilt on Thursday.
Fernandes and Kim each tipped the scales at 134 pounds. Their clash headlines Friday’s card entitled “Warriors Way,” which takes place at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines and streams at www.onefc.com/livestream.
Fernandes enters the matchup on an eight-fight winning streak, including a 4-0 mark under the One FC banner. He most recently appeared at One FC 15, taking a five-round verdict over Masakatsu Ueda on May 2. Kim, meanwhile, is unbeaten in 11 pro outings. The South Korean is 2-0 in One FC, with submission triumphs over Thanh Vu and Kevin Belingon.
Friday’s main card also features a heavyweight bout pitting UFC veteran Brandon Vera (243) against Igor Subora and a light heavyweight scrap between ex-Octagon talents James McSweeney (205) and Roger Gracie (205).
