One FC 14 Weigh-In Results: Larson, Suzuki Cleared for Title Tilt; Lim-Osman Cancelled

The Singapore-based One Fighting Championship will soon crown a welterweight king, as both Brock Larson and Nobutatsu Suzuki were cleared to compete at the One FC 14 weigh-ins.

Larson and Suzuki both checked in at 170 pounds ahead of their main event at “War of Nations,” though not all fighters made weight for the March 14 event, which takes place at Stadium Negara in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and streams live on onefc.livesport.tv.

Ann Osman’s rematch with Sherilyn Lim was canceled after Lim weighed in at 121 pounds ahead of their planned strawweight clash. Andrew Leone also missed weight, tipping the scales at 129 pounds to exceed the flyweight limit. However, Leone’s bout with Shinichi Kojima (125) will still move forward at a 129-pound catchweight.

The event will also showcase the unbeaten Dae Hwan Kim (134), as the South Korean collides with URCC champion Kevin Belingon (134) in a bantamweight co-headliner. Also of note, Bashir Ahmad (155) will step up on short notice to replace student Waqar Umar, whose visa issues prevent him from attending weigh-ins ahead of his planned lightweight showdown with Peter Davis (155).

The nine-fight bill will also see once-beaten Brazilian Adriano Moraes (125) collide with former Shooto champion Yasuhiro Urushitani (124) at flyweight, while 11-fight pro Ariel Sexton (155) battles UFC alum Kamal Shalorus (155) at lightweight.
