The 21-year-old Inoue enters the bout on a three-fight winning streak, which includes a second-round submission of Lacey Schuckman at Invicta FC 15 in January. The Japanese fighter is 11-4 as a pro and 2-2 in Invicta, with victories over UFC talents Bec Rawlings and Alex Chambers to her credit.
Alvarez will be competing for the first time since January 2014, when she submitted Amber Stautzenberger on a regional card in North Dakota. In her lone Invicta appearance, “Lights Out” suffered a first-round TKO loss to ex-UFC strawweight champ Carla Esparza.
