It appears that Maryna Moroz will not be able to welcome Ariane Lipski to the Octagon at UFC Fight Night 140.

Moroz posted a picture on Instagram Monday of her left foot wrapped with the following caption: “Hi friends. I am very sad. I got injured and [will] not be able to have a fight.”

Moroz began her promotional tenure with victories in three of her first four appearances before dropping consecutive decisions against Angela Hill and Carla Esparza in her last two outings. The 27-year-old Ukraine native is 8-3 as a professional.

It is unclear if Lipski, the former KSW flyweight champion, will remain on the card against a replacement opponent.

UFC Fight Night 140 takes place at Parque Roca Arena in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Nov. 17 and is headlined by a welterweight scrap pitting Santiago Ponzinibbio against Neil Magny. The card will be televised on Fox Sports 1 following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass. Moroz vs. Lipski was scheduled for the FS1 preliminary portion of the card.
