KSW 35 takes place on May 27 at Ergo Arena in Gdansk/Sopot, Poland, and features a middleweight championship tilt between Mamed Khalidov and Aziz Karaoglu. Additionally, strongman Mariusz Pudzianowski will lock horns with Marcin Rozalski at heavyweight, while Michal Materla meets Kendall Grove at 185 pounds. The event will be available via online pay-per-view at KSWTV.com.

Barnaoui came up short in his bid to become a two-division champion in M-1, as he dropped a five-round verdict to reigning featherweight kingpin Ivan Buchinger at M-1 Challenge 62 this past October. The 23-year-old known as “The Afro-Samurai had won four straight prior to that defeat, including triumphs over ex-UFC talents Curt Warburton and Colin Fletcher.

Gamrot, 25, is unbeaten in 10 professional outings, including six appearances under the KSW banner. The Poznan, Poland native last competed at KSW 32, where he scored a second-round technical knockout of Marif Piraev.
