Dern confirmed the move via Instagram, and MMAjunkie.com later reported that the Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt will face Mandy Polk at LFA 24 at Comerica Theatre in Phoenix on Oct. 13. The card will air on AXS-TV at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.

The 24-year-old Dern is 3-0 since making her MMA debut last year. However, the MMA Lab representative failed to make the strawweight limit for each of her last two bouts. In her last appearance, she took a unanimous decision against Katherine Roy at LFA 6 on March 10.

Polk owns a 3-3 MMA mark and last competed at Resurrection Fighting Alliance 46, where she suffered a second-round technical knockout loss to Katy Collins.
