Live Strikeforce Weigh-in Results (6 p.m. ET)

Strikeforce’s heavyweight tournament will resume Saturday at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, and all 20 fighters participating on the card will take to the scales Friday to make official the event’s Showtime and HDNet (prelims) televised bouts.

Sherdog.com will report live from Dallas with weigh-in results Friday at approximately 6 p.m. ET.

Familiar foes Alistair Overeem and Fabricio Werdum will renew their rivalry to headline Friday’s weigh-in gathering. The two met in May 2006, with the Brazilian picking up a second-round submission over the Dutch banger. Neither man should have difficulty coming in under the 265-pound threshold Friday afternoon in the Lone Star State.

Also in tournament action, former UFC heavyweight champion Josh Barnett and one-time Strikeforce title challenger Brett Rogers will seek to put the stamp on their co-main event duel with a trip to the scale.
