Lineker vs. Vera, Trinaldo vs. Miller Booked for UFC Fight Night 119 in Sao Paulo

A pair of bouts have been added to the UFC Fight Night 119 lineup, as John Lineker will face Marlon Vera at bantamweight, while Francisco Trinaldo will lock horns with Jim Miller at lightweight.

The promotion recently revealed the matchups. UFC Fight Night 119 takes place at Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo on Oct. 28 and is headlined by a middleweight showdown between Lyoto Machida and Derek Brunson.

Lineker had a six-fight winning streak snapped in his last outing, falling to ex-bantamweight king T.J. Dillashaw at UFC 207 on Dec. 30. Vera, meanwhile, has won four of his last five Octagon appearances, including a first-round submission of Brian Kelleher at UFC on Fox 25.

Trinaldo compiled a seven-bout winning streak within the Las Vegas-based promotion before suffering second-round submission loss to Kevin Lee in his most recent appearance at UFC Fight Night 106 on March 11. Miller enters the matchup on a two-fight losing streak after dropping a unanimous decision to Anthony Pettis at UFC 213 and a majority verdict against Dustin Poirier at UFC 208.
