Lightweights Luis Pena, Alex Munoz to Clash at UFC Norfolk on Feb. 29

Luis Pena will face Alex Munoz in a lightweight matchup at UFC Norfolk, promotion officials recently announced.

UFC Norfolk takes place at Chartway Arena on Feb. 29 and is headlined by a flyweight championship bout between Joseph Benavidez and Deiveson Figueiredo. The card will air on ESPN+.

Pena had a two-bout winning streak snapped at UFC Fight Night 161, as he dropped a split decision to Matt Frevola on Oct. 12. “Violent Bob Ross” is 3-2 during his promotional tenure and 7-2 as a professional overall.

Munoz will be making his Octagon debut after earning a dominant unanimous verdict against Nick Newell on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2018. The Team Alpha Male product owns a 5-0 professional mark.
