The main event of the night will see contenders Tony Kelley and Kevin Aguilar taking on each other for the promotion’s vacant featherweight title. At Thursday’s weigh-ins, both men came in under the 135-pound limit, giving their showdown the green light.
Kelley, who hasn’t fought in 16 months, looked as good as ever as he came in at 143.4 pounds. “Primetime” was last seen in February 2105 when he submitted Jordan Winski in the third via rear-naked choke on the World Fighting Federation 19 card. Aguilar, meanwhile, has won two in a row since losing for the first time as a pro, clocked in at 144.3 pounds. His last fight was in December, where he forced David Bosnick to submit from punches in the second at Legacy FC 49.
