The undefeated Glory MMA and Fitness rep submitted Antonio Paulo Branjao with a first-round guillotine choke in the Legacy Fighting Alliance 21 headliner on Friday at the Branson Convention Center in Branson, Missouri. Noblitt finished it 4:13 into Round 1.

Branjao failed to keep a safe distance between himself and the powerhouse wrestler. Noblitt suffocated the Brazilian inside the clinch, struck for a takedown inside the first two minutes and went to work on the mat. He avoided an attempted kneebar, advanced to mount and grapevined the legs to secure his position. Soon after, Noblitt capitalized on a desperate scramble, bit down on the guillotine and drew the curtain.

In the middleweight co-main event, Phalanx MMA Academy prospect Kevin Holland wiped out Grady Hurley with a flying knee and follow-up punches. Holland brought it to a close 1:24 into Round 1, as he won for the sixth time in seven appearances.

The two men jockeyed for position along the fence before Holland made his move. The 24-year-old created some separation and delivered an on-the-button knee strike in close quarters. The impact stunned Hurley and left him vulnerable to the attack that followed. Holland spun off the fence, drove his counterpart to the canvas and unleashed a series of unanswered punches that prompted the stoppage.

The loss snapped Hurley’s nine-fight winning streak.

Meanwhile, Trey Ogden submitted T.J. Brown with a rear-naked choke in the first round of their lightweight showcase. Brown bowed out 2:27 into Round 1.

Ogden, 27, has rattled off seven straight wins, five of them via submission.

In other action, Shannon Sinn claimed a unanimous decision over Katy Collins in a three-round women’s flyweight bout; Charles Johnson was awarded a split verdict over Jeremiah Cullum in a clash that went the full 15 minutes at 125 pounds; Yazan Hajeh took a split decision from Oscar Valdez in a three-round featherweight encounter; Dakota Bush disposed of Jose Martinez with a rear-naked choke 2:01 into the first round of their matchup at 155 pounds; Xavier Siller submitted Miles McDonald with a triangle choke 4:51 into the first round of their 4:51 into the first round of their flyweight tilt; Tyler Lee tapped Francisco Cortez with a kimura 78 seconds into the first round of their confrontation at 185 pounds; and Clayton Brown submitted Adam Mink with a guillotine choke 3:52 into the first round of their lightweight pairing.
