Kayla Harrison, Magomed Magomedkerimov Get Fights at PFL 4: 2019 Regular Season

Olympic judoka Kayla Harrison will continue her quest for Professional Fighters League lightweight gold at the promotion’s fourth regular season event on July 11.

The two-time Olympic gold medalist will face Morgan Frier in a 155-pound clash at PFL 4: 2019 Regular Season in the evening’s co-main event, while Season 1 welterweight champion Magomed Magomedkerimov will lock horns with Chris Curtis in the headliner. Additionally, Ray Cooper III will meet John Howard at 170 pounds, while Sarah Kaufman takes on Roberta Samad.

PFL 4: 2019 Regular Season takes place at Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City, N.J., and airs on ESPN2 and ESPN+. ESPN.com was first to report the matchups. The event will determine playoff eligibility and seeding for welterweight and women’s lightweight.

Harrison improved her career mark to 4-0 at PFL’s season opening event, as she earned a unanimous verdict against former UFC competitor Larissa Pachecho. Frier, meanwhile, suffered her second career defeat at the same event, falling to Kaufman via first-round submission.

Magomedkerimov kicked off his second PFL campaign with a guillotine choke tapout of Howard at PFL 1: 2019 Regular Season for his ninth consecutive professional triumph. Curtis earned a third-round TKO stoppage of Andre Fialho on the same card.
