Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki gold will remain in the care of Karol Bedorf for the foreseeable future.

Bedorf successfully defended his heavyweight title and did so in dominant fashion, as he blew away “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 10 graduate James McSweeney in the KSW 34 “New Order” headliner on Saturday at Torwar Hall in Warsaw, Poland. Bedorf, who has not lost a fight in nearly five years, finished it 3:33 into round one.

McSweeney never stood a chance. Bedorf abused him in the standup, backed him to the fence and unleashed a torrent of punches, knees and finally elbows to prompt referee Piotr Michalak to act on McSweeney’s behalf and award the champion his eighth victory in as many outings.

In the co-main event, Tomasz Narkun strengthened his grip on the KSW light heavyweight championship, as he disposed of Cassio Barbosa de Oliveira with a first-round knee strike and follow-up punches. Oliveira met his end 1:46 into round one.

Narkun eluded an armbar attempt, staggered the Brazilian with an upkick and then delivered a crushing flying knee upstairs upon returning to his feet. The blow turned Oliveira to mush and left him vulnerable to the subsequent punches that necessitated the stoppage.

The 26-year-old Narkun has won three fights in a row, all of them first-round finishes.

Meanwhile, Artur Sowinski retained the KSW featherweight crown with a three-round unanimous decision over da Conceicao. All three cageside judges scored it 29-28 for Sowinski, who has rattled off four consecutive victories.

Conceicao enjoyed some success, particularly in the second round, where he assumed top position and forced the champion to play guard. Sowinski -- who had threatened the Brazilian with a triangle choke and leg lock in round one -- forced the challenger to stand in the third round, battering him with sweeping lefts while stuffing his takedowns.

The defeat put an end to a three-fight winning streak for “Jacarezinho.”

In other action, UFC veteran Maciej Jewtuszko punched Krzysztof Kulak into submission 2:18 into the second round of their grudge match at 170 pounds; Aslambek Saidov captured a unanimous decision from Yasubey Enomoto in a 15-minute welterweight tilt; Antoni Chmielewski knocked out Svetlozar Savov with a slam and follow-up punches 1:42 into the first round of their battle at 185 pounds; Szymon Bajor took a unanimous verdict over Jedrzej Mackowiak in a three-round heavyweight clash; and Marcin Wojcik put away Tomasz Kondraciuk with punches 91 seconds into the second round of their encounter at 205 pounds.
