Kamuela Kirk Makes Daniel Swain Quit in LFA 107 Main Event

Lightweights Kamuela Kirk and Daniel Swain went to battle in the LFA 107 main event, but only one of them wanted to go three rounds inside the Legacy Fighting Alliance Octagon.

A wild first round saw Kirk (11-4) hurt Swain (20-11-1) with punches and land some damaging knees. Swain would lock in an armbar, but Kirk would slam his way out of the submission. The second round saw Swain once again look for an armbar but a few slams forced the grappler to let go, and "The Jawaiian" ended the frame in mount. In between rounds, Swain decided not to continue and said that he's retired giving Kirk a TKO victory via retirement. After the bout, Kirk expressed a desire to go to the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Team Alpha Male product Allan Begosso looked great against Samarbek Sabyrzhan. Begosso (6-0-1) showed off his team's signature guillotine choke by locking in the tight hold that forced Sabyrzhan (3-3) to tap at 4:23 of Round 1.

Heavyweight Jordan Heiderman kept his undefeated record intact. After battling through some early punches, Heiderman (4-0) took down Anthony Garrett and was able to lock in an arm-triangle choke. The tap from Garrett (6-3, 1 NC) came at 3:40 of Round 1.

Lightweight prospect James Wilson stayed unbeaten against Daniel Jefferson. The bout went the full 15 minutes, but Wilson (4-0) was able to control the fight in all areas despite a game effort from Jefferson (2-3). After three rounds of action, "All Might" received three 30-27 scorecards from the judges.

Taylor Mauldin impressed in the first main card bout of the night. After getting a takedown, Mauldin (1-0) grabbed the leg of Ambar De La Herran and locked in a kneebar. Herran (0-1) was forced to tap at 1:30 of Round 1.

In preliminary action, Ray Waters (1-0) made quick work of L.J. Smith Portee (2-3) via rear-naked choke at the 1:02 mark of Round 1; Corey Davis (6-3) picked up a controversial head kick TKO victory at 2:50 of Round 2 over Thomas Powell (4-6) after referee Marcio Laselva missed an eye poke; and Alandria Brown (1-0) submitted Shania Arredondo (0-1) via rear-naked choke at 3:54 of Round 3.
