KSW 49 Weigh-In Results: Title Doubleheader Set, All Fighters On Weight

All fighters made their contracted weights as KSW heads to ERGO Arena in Sopot, Poland with a title doubleheader for KSW 49: Materla vs. Askham 2.

The card is headlined by Scott Askham (184) taking on Michal Materla (185) in a rematch for the vacant middleweight title; Askham prevailed via first-round TKO in their first meeting last March. In the co-main event, welterweight champion Roberto Soldic (169) is putting his belt on the line when he scraps with Krystian Kaszubowski (169).

The card also features a heavyweight bout between Karol Bedorf (260) and Damian Grabowski (265). In a 163-pound fight, “The Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes” winner Norman Parke (163) returns from a brief self-declared retirement to square off against Artur Sowinski (162). In addition, KSW 49 sees an interesting catchweight scrap featuring Ultimate Fighting Championship veteran Thiago Silva (208), who returns to KSW to meet Martin Zawada (208).
