Jodie Esquibel vs. DeAnna Bennett, Two Other Bouts Announced for Invicta FC 22

Jodie Esquibel will square off with DeAnna Bennett in a strawweight contest at Invicta Fighting Championships 22 (online betting).

The promotion confirmed the pairing on Wednesday along with two other bouts for the March 25 event: Sunna Rannveig Davidsdottir vs. Mallory Martin at strawweight and Kal Holliday vs. Miranda Maverick at 115 pounds.

Invicta FC 22 takes place at the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Mo., and is headlined by a bantamweight title rematch between Tonya Evinger and Yana Kunitskaya. The card streams in its entirety on UFC Fight Pass beginning at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

Esquibel owns a 3-2 mark in the all-female organization and last competed at Invicta FC 18, where she lost a unanimous decision to current UFC talent Alexa Grasso. The Jackson-Wink MMA product was scheduled to face Kali Robbins at Invicta FC 21 last month, but the contest was canceled after Robbins badly missed weight.

After winning her first eight professional bouts, Bennett has dropped consecutive contests to Roxanne Modafferi and Livia Renata Souza under the Invicta FC banner.
