Invicta FC 20 Weigh-in Results: Tonya Evinger, Yana Kunitskaya Cleared to Fight

Invicta Fighting Championships, the world’s leading all-female mixed martial arts promotion, will return to action on Friday as its bantamweight champion will put her title on the second time. Tonya Evinger is set to take on Yana Kunitskaya in the main event of Invicta FC 20 and at Thursday’s weigh-ins, both women were on point, giving their showdown the green light.

Kunitskaya was the first of the featured combatants to hit the scale and the Russian nailed it. “Foxy” came in officially at 134.1 pounds and looked nearly flawless a day ahead of what will be the biggest fight of her career. Evinger, meanwhile, was all business as she clocked in at 134.7, setting up what she hopes to be her 10th consecutive victory.

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship fighter and Invicta strawweight champion Angela Hill will defend against Kaline Medeiros in the co-feature and, like the main event combatants, they came in on point. Hill weighed in at 114.8 pounds while Medeiros tipped the scale at 114.1.

Invicta FC 20 will held at the Kansas City Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Mo. The action will be televised live on UFC Fight Pass beginning at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
