Cejudo, the reigning flyweight champion, defended his title with a 32-second stoppage of Dillashaw in the UFC Brooklyn headliner. That victory came on the heels of a split-decision triumph over Demetrious Johnson at UFC 227 to claim the 125-pound title. The Olympic gold medalist has won four fights in a row and is 8-2 during his UFC tenure.
A former World Series of Fighting bantamweight king, Moraes has reeled off four consecutive wins after dropping a contentious split decision to Raphael Assuncao in his Octagon debut. That streak includes first-round round finishes of Aljamain Sterling, Jimmie Rivera and Assuncao in a rematch. The 30-year-old Rio de Janeiro native is 22-5-1 over the course of his professional career.
UFC 238 takes place at the United Center in Chicago and also includes a women’s flyweight title tilt between Valentina Shevchenko and Jessica Eye. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and UFC Fight Pass.
