Dantas under the Shooto Brazil banner in 2012, is 0-2 in the
UFC after dropping decisions to Sergio
Pettis and Kai
Kara-France in his first two appearances. The 36-year-old
Sports Lab product is 18-11-1 over the course of a pro career that
began in 2006.
Benoit has alternated losses and wins since his UFC debut in 2013.
The 30-year-old Dallas native is coming off a split-decision
setback to Heili
Alateng at UFC Fight Night 165 on Dec. 21. Benoit’s most
notable triumph came against Sergio
Pettis at UFC 185.
