A pair of Invicta Fighting Championship veterans will make their Octagon debuts at UFC on ESPN 12, as ex-atomweight champion Jinh Yu Frey will square off against Kay Hansen on June 27.

MMAjunkie.com was first to report the booking after both fighters announced their signing with the UFC on social media. UFC on ESPN 12 takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas and is headlined by a lightweight showdown between Dustin Poirier and Dan Hooker. Frey vs. Hansen will be contested at strawweight.

Frey enters her first promotional appearance having won three of her last four bouts. She was forced to vacate the atomweight belt after missing weight prior to Invicta FC 39 but still defeated Ashley Cummins via five-round unanimous decision in the Feb. 7 headliner.

The 20-year-old Hansen has compiled a 6-3 career mark, with all but one of those appearances coming under the Invicta FC banner. Most recently, the Team Punishment representative outpointed Liana Ferreira Pirosin at Phoenix Series 3 on March 6.
