Anders last fought back in June, when he knocked out Vinicius Moreira in the first round to snap his three-fight losing streak. Before that, he lost to Khalil Rountree Jr., Elias Theodorou and Thiago Santos. “Ya Boi” is currently 4-4 in the UFC and 3-2 at middleweight.
Meerschaert, meanwhile, also got back into the win column last time out as he submitted Trevin Giles in the third round at UFC on ESPN 5. The win improved his record to 29-11 and 5-3 inside the Octagon.
The two share a common opponent in Santos, with both losing by TKO.
