Deontay Wilder and Dominic Breazeale Official for WBC Heavyweight Title Bout

World Boxing Council heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder and challenger Dominic Breazeale have had bad blood leading up to their Showtime bout on Saturday. Wilder has received criticism for saying that he wants to "catch a body" inside the ring and is looking to end Breazeale's life during their match. As such, it wasn't a surprise when the two had an intense staredown at today's weigh-in.

Wilder (40-0-1, 39 KO) has put away every opponent he has faced except for Bermane Stiverne and Tyson Fury, who he went to a split draw with in December 2018. The match against Fury was a controversial one, as many thought that the British fighter won on points despite being knocked down twice. Wilder looked good on the scale and came in at a healthy 223.25 pounds, which is nearly 10 more than what he weighed in at against Fury.

Breazeale (20-1) is a sizable underdog but will be the much larger man inside the ring. He tipped the scales at 255.25 pounds. His lone defeat came to Anthony Joshua in 2016, and he'll be looking to gain his first world title against Wilder. The Olympian has rebounded with three wins since his knockout defeat.

The co-main event will feature Gary Russell Jr. (29-1, 17 KO) looking to defend his WBC featherweight title against Kiko Martinez (39-8-2, 28 KO). While the action will kick off with a 135-pound bout between undefeated prospect Juan Heraldez (16-0, 10 KO) and Argenis Mendez (25-5-2, 12 KO).

The anticipated bout will air live on Showtime tomorrow at 9 p.m. ET.

Wilder vs. Breazeale weigh-in results:

Deontay Wilder (223.25) vs. Dominic Breazeale (255.25)
Gary Russell Jr. (125.75) vs. Kiko Martinez (124.5)
Juan Heraldez (140.5) vs. Argenis Mendez (140.75)
