David Allen Resigns as UFC Head of Europe, Middle East, Africa
David Allen, the UFC senior vice president and general manager of Europe, Middle East and Africa, has parted ways with the Las Vegas-based organization.
Fighters Only was the first to report Allen’s departure, and a number of outlets have since confirmed his exit. Allen’s tenure with the UFC ends just six months after he was promoted to his current position. Allen was promoted when Garry Cook was named UFC chief global officer.
With Allen at the helm, the promotion held UFC on Fox 14 at Tele2 Arena in Stockholm, Sweden, the second-largest show in company history. The UFC also held its first-ever event in Krakow, Poland on April 11. Most recently, Allen oversaw UFC Fight Night Berlin this past Saturday.
Allen joined the UFC in 2013, initially working under cook in the EMEA region as director of events, marketing and communication. Prior to that, he worked for recognizable brands such as Adidas, Nike and UMBRO.
