Daniel Rodriguez vs. Abubakar Nurmagomedov Added to UFC’s July 17 Card

Daniel Rodriguez will lock horns with Abubakar Nurmagomedov at an Ultimate Fighting Championship event on July 17.

Entre Rounds was first to report the welterweight bout. The UFC Fight Night event does not have an official location or headliner but will include Miesha Tate’s Octagon return, as she takes on Marion Reneau at 135 pounds.

Rodriguez has kicked off his promotional tenure with wins in four of his first five Octagon appearances. In his last outing, the 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu representative took a three-round verdict over Mike Perry at UFC on ABC 2 on April 10.

After a brief stint in Professional Fighters League, Nurmagomedov has split his first two UFC bouts, falling to David Zawada via submission at UFC Fight Night 163 before outpointing Jared Gooden at UFC 260.
