On the second week of DWCS for the 2021 season, the broadcast announced that Week 1 winner Azamat Murzakanov (10-0) already had his promotional debut lined up. On Nov. 20 at an unnumbered UFC Fight Night event, he will take on Marcin Prachnio (15-5) at light heavyweight. The two will likely tangle inside the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Murzakanov made a statement in the top-billed bout of his DWCS episode, drilling Matheus Scheffel with a solid left and a ruthless right hand to put the Brazilian down for the count. The win propelled “The Professional” to a perfect 10 wins without a defeat, with a finish rate of 80 percent. Before joining the major stage, Murzakanov racked up wins over impressive names like the surging Andre Muniz and UFC vet-turned-kickboxer Guto Inocente on his way up.

Prachnio, who came to the company off of four wins under the One Championship banner, fell short by first-round knockout to Sam Alvey, Magomed Ankalaev and Mike Rodriguez in his first three UFC bouts. A fourth shot inside the Octagon was granted to the Polish fighter, who took advantage of the situation by taking a decision over Khalil Rountree in January. A body kick knockout over Isaac Villanueva in June placed the 33-year-old on his first win streak since 2017.

There is no headliner currently set for the UFC Fight Night card on Nov. 20, but it is expected to take place in the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. A pair of ranked bouts sit on the main card, including a welterweight battle between submission specialist Michael Chiesa and the unbeaten Sean Brady, as well as a possible women’s flyweight title eliminator matchup pitting Joanne Calderwood against Alexa Grasso.
