Multiple outlets confirmed the booking following an initial report from AgFight. The event is likely to take place at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi and also includes a women’s bantamweight tilt pitting Germaine de Randamie against Julianna Pena.
Oliveira is one of the hottest fighters in the 155-pound division. The 30-year-old Brazilian is currently on a seven-bout winning streak in which he has finished all of his opponents by knockout, technical knockout or submission. The promotion’s all-time submission leader is coming off a guillotine-choke triumph over Kevin Lee at UFC Fight Night 170 on March 14.
Dariush, meanwhile, has been victorious in his last five Octagon appearances — with all but one of those triumphs coming inside the distance. Most recently, the Kings MMA product scored a spectacular spinning backfist KO of Scott Holtzman at UFC Fight Night 174 on Aug. 8.
