CSAC: All Urine Samples from UFC 184 Come Back Clean

All 22 fighters who submitted urine samples at UFC 184 tested negative for performance enhancing drugs and drugs of abuse.

California State Athletic Commission Executive Director Andy Foster confirmed the results with Sherdog.com on Friday. In addition, Foster confirmed that one carbon isotope ratio (CIR) test was performed, and that result came back clean as well.

All competitors from the Feb. 28 event also submitted blood samples, marking the first time the commission has urine and blood tested an entire card. Foster said he expects to receive the blood test results early next week.

UFC 184 took place at Staples Center in Los Angeles and saw Ronda Rousey retain her bantamweight crown with a 14-second submission of Cat Zingano in the evening’s main event. In the co-headliner, former boxing champion Holly Holm took a split decision over “TUF 18” veteran Raquel Pennington at 135 pounds.
