Since losing four in a row and subsequently being released from the UFC, “Legionarius” has turned things around. He’s won two straight, with his last performance being a second-round knockout of Brian Rogers at Bellator 152 in April. “The Mexicutioner,” meanwhile, is coming off a loss to Chase Gormley at Bellator 155 in May and has flip-flopped wins and losses during the course of his last seven fights.
Kielholtz (45-3) was shockingly upset by Peritore at Bellator 157 “Dynamite 2” in June. The Dutch kickboxer is among the best in the world and she wants nothing more than to exact revenge on Peritore (11-1-1), who will be fighting on her home soil.
“International expansion was a major goal for us in 2016, and I feel that we’ve really nailed it thus far,” said Bellator President Scott Coker. “After the incredible success of our first event in Italy this past April where we packed the Pala Alpitour with over 14,000 people, we knew that we wanted to return for a second go-round before the end of the year.”
Bellator also revealed that Giorgio Petrosyan, Raymond Daniels, Kevin Ross and Joe Schilling will compete on the Bellator Kickboxing portion of the card, though opponents have not been revealed. As of now, no additional MMA matchups have been announced for what will be Bellator 167.
Both Bellator 167 and Bellator Kickboxing “Florence” will be broadcast on Spike, though exact details remain to be announced.
