Undefeated bantamweight Patrick Mix has re-signed with Bellator MMA.

Though the deal was finalized earlier this year, Mix recently revealed the news on his Facebook page. The contract is for multiple fights, but financial terms were not disclosed. Bellator has canceled all events through May due to the coronavirus pandemic, and it is unclear when the California-based organization will resume its schedule.

“I re-signed my second multi-fight contract with one of the top [MMA] promotion in the world at the beginning of the year,” Mix wrote. “Even though this year 2020 has been hard the light at the end of the tunnel is that Bellator will be home to myself and family for many years to come. After this pandemic I’m excited to get back to work and chasing these dreams.”

A native of Angola, N.Y., the 26-year-old Mix has kicked off his professional tenure with 13 consecutive triumphs. After a lengthy stint in King of the Cage, Mix joined Bellator in 2019 and earned first-round submissions of Ricky Bandejas and Isaiah Chapman. Most recently, “Patchy” competed in a cross-promotional event at Rizin 20 on Dec. 31, when he choked out Japanese veteran Yuki Motoya in the opening stanza.
