Bellator London Weigh-in Results: Following Brief Fracas, All Fighters Make Weight

Fabian Edwards and Mike Shipman had something to say to one another ahead of their Saturday meeting in London for Bellator MMA.

In the main event, fan favorite Michael Page hit the scales at 170 pounds as he prepares to take on short-notice replacement Giovanni Melillo (170.8) at welterweight. Page is coming off of a first-round knockout win over Richard Kiely to get back into the win column after losing to Douglas Lima earlier this year. The Italian, meanwhile, is set to make his promotional debut on the heels of a decision win in May over one-time Ultimate Fighting Championship competitor Will Chope. In the co-main attraction, undefeated Edwards (185.4) locks horns with Shipman (185) at middleweight, and at the ceremonial weigh-ins, the two men nearly came to blows and had to be restrained.

The Bellator London main card airs live on Saturday on the Bellator app at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT, and also features a lightweight bout between Terry Brazier (155.6) and Soren Bak (156). That main portion will be preceded by 15 preliminary matchups also on the Bellator app.
