Bellator MMA is back in Connecticut on Friday for a doubleheader that starts with Bellator 231, and every fighter has hit their proper marks.

The main event of the card sees a heavyweight rematch eight years in the making between Frank Mir (265.75) and Roy Nelson (258). Mir came out on top in their first fight in 2011, but both have struggled as of late. In their respective last 10 bouts, the former Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight champ has gone 2-8 while "Big Country" posts a 3-7 record in a similar span. Nelson weighed in later than the rest, as the commission allowed him to come late due to a mandatory doctor's appointment. The co-main attraction sees Phil Davis (205.5) welcome Rizin Fighting Federation veteran Karl Albrektsson (205) to the California-based promotion.

Bellator 231 airs live on Paramount and Dazn, with the main card kicking off at 9 p.m. ET 6 p.m. PT. The card also features a welterweight clash as Ed Ruth (170) locks horns with Jason Jackson (170.5). At women's flyweight, Bec Rawlings (125.5) makes her Bellator debut opposite Ilara Joanna (125.25). Opening up the main card is a heavyweight battle between pro wrestling standout "Jack Swagger" Jake Hager (249) and Anthony Garrett (265).
