Keith Kizer, executive director of the Nevada Athletic Commission,
informed Sherdog.com of the results on Friday, revealing that all
fighters on both bills were tested.
WSOF 1 took place Saturday at the Planet Hollywood Resort and
Casino. The promotion’s debut event aired live on the NBC Sports
Network and saw former UFC champion Andrei
Arlovski knock out ex-IFL talent Devin Cole in
the evening’s headliner. The Nov. 3 event also showcased a light
heavyweight showdown between onetime UFC welterweight Anthony
Johnson and Bellator tournament veteran D.J.
Linderman, resulting in “Rumble” starching Linderman in the
first round.
The evening prior, RFA
4 offered up an 11-fight bill from Texas Station, topped by a
lightweight showdown between UFC veterans Tyson
Griffin and Efrain
Escudero. Griffin emerged victorious in the main event, taking
a unanimous decision in his first appearance since receiving his
UFC release one year ago. Also of note, welterweight prospect
Chidi
Njokuani earned the seventh knockout of his career, as the
23-year-old stopped Phil Dace with
punches in the third round.
