Abubakar Nurmagomedov to Make UFC Debut at UFC Moscow in November
Abubakar Nurmagomedov (15-2-1), Khabib's cousin, will make his UFC debut on Nov. 9 at UFC Fight Night in Moscow, per his manager Ali Abdelaziz. He will fight David Zawada. Abubakar likely would have fought in Abu Dhabi next week, but was recovering from injury.

As if two Nurmagomedovs were not enough, the Ultimate Fighting Championship is about to get one more.

A longtime member of the World Series of Fighting-Professional Fighters League roster, A. Nurmagomedov advanced to the semifinals in the 2018 season thanks to tiebreaking draw, but was forced to withdraw after suffering a hand injury. With six wins inside the WSOF-PFL cage, only 2018 season champion Magomed Magomedkerimov (eight) holds more wins as a welterweight with that promotion. Balanced in his method of victory throughout his career, he sports six wins by knockout, five by decision and four by tapout.
His opponent Zawada is still searching for his first win with the Las Vegas-based promotion, having dropped his first two in the form of a split decision to Danny Roberts and a knockout by Jingliang Li. A one-time KSW welterweight title challenger, Germany's Zawada earned a shot in the UFC with a five-fight win streak including three victories under the KSW banner. A proven finisher, 14 of his 16 career wins have come by stoppage, including 11 knockouts for "Sagat."
UFC Fight Night 163 takes place at the CSKA Arena in Moscow on Nov 9. No headliner has yet been announced, although Ed Herman will reportedly take on Gadzhimurad Antigulov at light heavyweight, while Klidson Abreu is also reported to face Shamil Gamzatov at 205 pounds.
