AKA's Adam Antolin Taps Alex Perez for Flyweight Crown at Tachi Palace Fights 25

American Kickboing Academy's Adam Antolin stole the show in the main event of Tachi Palace Fights 25 Thursday night in Lemoore, Calif., taking the TPF flyweight title and snapping the 10-fight winning streak of Alex Perez.

Antolin (11-3) never allowed the champion to get anything going in his favor. Before Perez (13-3) could react to an early takedown, Antolin was already on his neck and fishing for the guillotine. Perez was suckered right into it and had no choice but to tap out, handing his belt over in the process in just 75 seconds. Perez won the title in his previous bout when he toppled Eloy Garza in May, but San Jose, Calif.'s Antolin was the far better man tonight, winning his seventh consecutive battle.

While one man's throne was taken, another fighter had a vacant crown placed on his head, as longtime TPF veteran Tony Llamas earned 155-pound gold with a thrilling win over Dominic Clark.

The Team Rampage brawler inched himself back over the .500 mark in his career, as Llamas (16-15, 1 NC) and his opponent waged a back-and-forth battle while it lasted, but eventually Llamas’ fists took over the tussle and eventually took Clark (8-5) out with just one second left in the first frame.

Llamas rocked the Strikeforce veteran with punches and when Clark tried to recover, “Nuno” was all over him, tearing him apart with shots from everywhere. The win extends Llamas' five-fight winning streak, four of which have come via stoppage.

Bellator MMA veteran Danny Navarro earned the biggest win of his career, upsetting UFC veteran Cain Carrizosa. The Millenia MMA lightweight, now 14-6, was workmanlike in his decision win, as“Ironman” tagged his foe with several stinging strikes and controlled the clinches en route to the victory, allowing him to bounce back from a knockout loss to Christian Aguilera in June. Carrizosa, who was released from the UFC earlier this year, has lost three straight.

Strikeforce veteran Chris Culley snapped a two-fight skid by edging Kyle Reyes over three rounds in their lightweight skirmish. “The Urban Legend” was more aggressive throughout and landed the harder strikes to earn the unanimous decision.

Drake Boen dominated Brandon Cohea over three rounds at 145 pounds to earn a unanimous decision, upping his record to 5-2. “Stick and Stones” secured what seemed like dozens of submission attempts in the duel, but Cohea was too slick to be tapped out despite being on defense for the entire contest.

Jamall Emmers won virtually every minute of his catch-weight bout with Ray Cervera, as the “Pretty Boy” busted his foe up from start to finish in every position to move his record to 9-2.

In undercard action: Cesar Gracie Fight Team featherweight Samuel Alvarez evened up his pro ledger with a unanimous decision win over Evan Solorio; Art Hernandez submitted debuting lightweight Mike Pinon via rear-naked choke at 2:18 of round one; welterweight Jordan Williams also landed a rear-naked choke of his own, subbing Preston Scharf in just 1:42; lightweight Sergio Cortez guillotined Jeff Carson in just 34 seconds; and in the opening bout of the evening, flyweight Casey Keeney cut Victor Rosas apart, earning a doctor stoppage in a bloody war 4:31 into the third round.
