8 Fighters Drug Tested at UFC Fight Night Albuquerque

Eight fighters, including main event combatants Benson Henderson and Rustam Khabilov, received drug tests at UFC Fight Night Albuquerque this past Saturday. All eight fighters on the card successfully passed their drug screens.

Sherdog.com requested and received the results from the New Mexico Athletic Commission. In addition to Henderson and Khabilov, Ross Pearson, John Moraga, Jason High, Piotr Hallmann, Erik Perez and Jon Tuck submitted to random, pre-fight urine screenings.

Based on commission policy, one-third of participants at a sanctioned event are subject to random testing. Twenty-two fighters competed on Saturday’s card.

UFC Fight Night “Henderson vs. Khabilov” took place at the Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, N.M., and saw Henderson submit Khabilov in the fourth round. In the co-main event, Diego Sanchez captured a controversial split verdict over Ross Pearson in another 155-pound pairing.
