Welcome back to the Sherdog Staff Pick 'Em league, where this week
we will take our best shots at UFC on ESPN 19: Hermansson vs. Vettori—or, if
you prefer, UFC Vegas 16.
With the reshuffling of the main event in the wake of Kevin
Holland's positive COVID test, we have an all-European main
event—and the first ever Ultimate Fighting Championship headliner from
Italy. Marvin
Vettori picks up that historical distinction, and he is the
slight betting favorite in the makeshift main event, to boot.
Nonetheless, the Pick 'Em league is going with the more seasoned
Jack
Hermansson to pull off the slight upset. The co-main features a
similar dynamic, with Ovince St.
Preux coming in as an underdog to the red-hot Jamahal
Hill, but a majority of the pickers going with "OSP."
