Welcome back to the Sherdog Staff Pick 'Em, where this week we
stare down the barrel of a suddenly lean and mean
UFC Fight Night 186, also known as "UFC Vegas 20." A card that
promised 14 fights a week ago has been whittled down to just 10 by
the now-expected storm of COVID-related cancellations and
withdrawals due to other illness or injury. The good news is that
the two Top 10-level fights on the card, the heavyweight headliner
between Jairzinho
Rozenstruik and Ciryl Gane
and the Pedro
Munhoz vs. Jimmie
Rivera bantamweight feature, are still intact, knock on
wood.
In housekeeping, of the three Super Cojones Award
candidates last week, only one delivered, as Zebra Cheeks' pick of Yana
Kunitskaya to upset Ketlen
Vieira proved to be a correct one. Congratulations!
