The Walkmen: All UFC 247 Walkout Tracks

The ordering process for Ultimate Fighting Championship pay-per-views has changed: UFC 247 is only available on ESPN+ in the U.S.

Toyota Center in Houston was the site for UFC 247 Saturday night and the world’s biggest mixed martial arts promotion gave the world a double dose of championship action. Headlining the event was Jon Jones putting his light heavyweight title on the line against Dominick Reyes, while the co-feature saw Valentina Shevchenko defending her flyweight crown against Katlyn Chookagian.

“Bones” walked out to a combo of songs from 50 Cent and Jadakiss; the former’s “God Gave Me Style” and the latter’s “The Champ is Here.” Huge underdog Reyes, who came in an unbeaten contender but hardly anybody gave him a shot of winning, opted to walk out to the biggest fight of his career to the late Nipsy Hussle’s “Grindin All My Life.”

Shevchenko came out to the Octagon in her usual “Traditional Eastern European Folk Dance” music from Lezginka. Chookagian, looking to dethrone “Bullet,” went with DMX’s “Where the Hood At?”

Other standout tracks of the night were Motley Crue’s “Kickstart My Heart” (Mario Bautista); “Forever Flame” courtesy of Miracle of Sound from the Dark Souls video game soundtrack (Domingo Pilarte); and the iconic “Bad to the Bone” from George Thorogood and the Destroyers (Lauren Murphy).
