The Insane Prop Bets of UFC Fight Night 141

Another Ultimate Fighting Championship card in the book means another event that was full of prime betting opportunities. That was definitely the case at UFC Fight Night 141 on Saturday in Beijing, where a number of fights ended unexpectedly. Here are five of the most insane prop bets to cash at the Cadillac Arena:

Jingliang Li Wins in Round 3 (+1300)

The biggest prop bet on the entire card to cash was Li knocking out David Zawada late in the third round. Zawada won the first round and Li won the second, so it all came down to the third. However, Li made sure the judges did not come into play with his fifth knockout win in the UFC. The prop on Li winning in Round 3 hit at +1300.

Yanan Wu Wins by Submission (+940)

The most significant upset at UFC Fight Night “Blaydes vs. Ngannou 2” saw Wu finish Lauren Mueller via first-round stoppage. Few saw this one coming, as Wu had lost her UFC debut and Mueller was undefeated as a pro. That led to the props on Wu being available at huge odds. The prop on Wu winning in Round 1 hit at a nice +875; even juicier was the prop on Wu winning by submission, which hit at +940.

Rashad Coulter Wins by Decision (+625)

One of the more surprising fights saw Coulter and Yaozong Hu fight to a three-round decision, with the former getting his hand raised via unanimous decision. In 16 combined pro fights between them, neither man had ever gone the distance prior to this bout. Coulter missed weight for his light heavyweight debut, which puts a bit of a black mark on his win. However, he got his hand raised and showed he has the cardio to go three rounds. The prop on Coulter winning by decision hit at +625.

Weili Zhang Wins by Submission (+865)

A surging strawweight contender, Zhang picked up the biggest win of her young MMA career and took out former World Series of Fighting champion Jessica Aguilar via first-round submission. Zhang became just the second fighter to tap “Jag” and the first since Aguilar’s pro debut back in 2006. Considering Aguilar’s pedigree as a former world champion, this was a massive win for Zhang and may earn her a Top-10 opponent in her next outing. The prop on Zhang winning in Round 1 hit at +525; even better was the prop on her winning by submission, which cashed out at massive +865 odds.

Kevin Holland Wins in Round 3 (+950)

One of the most impressive performances on the card saw Holland defeat John Phillips in the third round via rear-naked choke. Holland may have lost to Thiago Santos in his UFC debut, but the dominant win over Phillips showed just how much potential this young middleweight wields. At only 25, he has a bright future inside the Octagon. The prop on Holland to win in the third round hit at +950.
