The Ultimate Fighting Championship puts middleweights on the marquee, as “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 17 finalist Uriah Hall will tackle former King of the Cage champion Sean Strickland in the UFC on ESPN 28 main event on Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Meanwhile, Kyung Ho Kang returns from a 19-month layoff to confront 2007 Abu Dhabi Combat Club Submission Wrestling World Championships gold medalist Rani Yahya in the three-round co-headliner at 135 pounds.

UFC on ESPN “Hall vs. Strickland”—which airs live on ESPN at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT—also features a women’s strawweight tilt matching Gloria de Paula with Cheyanne Buys, a flyweight scrap pitting Ryan Benoit against Zarrukh Adashev and a pair of welterweight affairs, as Niklas Stolze meets Jared Gooden and Bryan Barberena faces Jason Witt. ESPN will carry the undercard in its entirety at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT, a featherweight encounter between Collin Anglin and Melsik Baghdasaryan anchoring the five-fight preliminary lineup.
