“The Korean Zombie” blended his striking and grappling to capture a unanimous decision over Dan Ige in the UFC on ESPN 25 headliner at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas on Saturday night. Jung has won three of his last four promotional appearances dating back to June 2019. His victory over Ige marks the South Korean’s first triumph in a contest that has gone the full 25 minutes.

Here is a by-the-numbers look at UFC on ESPN 25, with statistics courtesy of UFCStats.com.

3: Takedowns landed by Jung in five attempts, the second most of his UFC career. Jung previously landed four takedowns in a submission win over Dustin Poirier at UFC on Fuel TV 3 in May 2012. He failed to land a takedown in six subsequent Octagon appearances before facing Ige.

.740: Significant striking accuracy for Vera in Round 3, when he landed 32 of 43 attempts. Vera’s accuracy increased as the bout progressed, as he landed 57 percent of his significant strikes in Round 1 and 64 percent in Round 2. Grant meanwhile, landed 49 percent of his signifcant strikes in the bout.

31: Significant strikes by which Aleksa Camur outlanded Nicolae Negumereanau in their preliminary light heavyweight bout. Despite that advantage, Negumereneau was the one who emerged with a split decision triumph.

19: Significant ground strikes landed by Bruno Silva in a first-round stoppage of Wellington Turman at middleweight. That figure accounts for all of Silva’s significant striking offense in the bout, which ended at the 4:45 mark of the period.
