By The Numbers: Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke vs. Banma Duoji

Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke built his reputation on thrilling the masses across more than two decades as a combat sports star. How much he has left in the tank remains to be seen.

The three-division Lumpinee Stadium titlist will take on Banma Duoji in the One Championship “Battleground 3” main event on Friday at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore. Amnuaysirichoke, who made the transition to mixed martial arts in 2014, has rattled off three wins over his past five outings. He last appeared at One Championship “Reign of Dynasties” on Oct. 9, when he wound up on the wrong side of a split decision against Getu Hexi. Duoji, meanwhile, has won eight of his last nine bouts. However, he has not competed since he dropped a unanimous verdict to Andrey Marchenko under the Kunlun Fight banner on July 27, 2019.

As Amnuaysirichoke and Duoji approach their headlining assignment, a look at some of the numbers that have accompanied them to this point:

42: Years of age for Amnuaysirichoke, who was born on Nov. 7, 1978 in Trang, Thailand.

3: Amnuaysirichoke wins by submission, accounting for 27% of his career total (11). His methods of choice: two rear-naked chokes and one armbar. Amnuaysirichoke owns six other wins by knockout or technical knockout and two more by decision.

.745: Cumulative winning percentage between the six men—Hexi, Li Tao Miao, Jeremy Miado, Riku Shibuya, Joshua Pacio and Yoshitaka Naito—who have defeated Amnuaysirichoke. They boast a combined record of 70-22-2.

371: Days spent by Amnuaysirichoke as One Championship strawweight titleholder. He held the 125-pound crown from May 22, 2015 to May 27, 2016. Amnuaysirichoke remains one of only five fighters who have captured the strawweight championship in the Singapore-based promotion. Naito, Pacio, Alex silva and Yosuke Saruta are the others.

6: Countries in which Amnuaysirichoke has competed as a mixed martial artist. He has gone 6-2 in Singapore, 0-4 in his native Thailand, 2-0 on Malaysia, 1-0 in Indonesia, 1-0 in the United Arab Emirates and 1-0 in the Philippines.

22: Years of age for Duoji, who was born in Tibet on July 15, 1999.

11: Duoji victories by knockout or technical knockout, accounting for 92% of his career total (12). He holds one other victory by submission, having disposed of Anatpong Bunrad with a rear-naked choke at Kunlun Fight 79 on Dec. 15, 2018.

2: Promotions in which Duoji has appeared as a mixed martial artist. He has gone 10-1 in Wu Lin Feng and 2-1 in Kunlun Fight.

9: First-round finishes on the Duoji resume, including two of the sub-minute variety. He buried Tomoya Kobayashi with punches in 58 seconds at WLF W.A.R.S. 18 on Oct. 28, 2017 and knocked out Dmytro Solovey in 45 seconds at WLF W.A.R.S. 35 on June 14, 2019.
