Video: ONE on Prime Video 1 Press Conference Highlights

One Championship flyweight king Adriano Moraes and former Ultimate Fighting Championship 125-pound ruler Demetrious Johnson came face-to-face Thursday to promote the promotion’s debut on Amazon Prime Video.

One on Prime Video 1 “Moraes vs. Johnson 2”—which streams live to Amazon Prime Video at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT—also features a pair of heavyweight battles, as Marcus Almeida meets Kirill Grishenko and Amir Aliakbari faces Mauro Cerilli, along with the flyweight world grand prix semifinals: Rodtang Jitmuangnon vs. Savvas Michael and Superlek Kiatmookao vs. Walter Goncalves.

Adriano Moraes, ONE flyweight champion: “I don’t think I have anything to prove. Of course, I’m an MMA fighter. I like to challenge myself and as a champion, I’ll just go there and defend my belt [against] whoever they put in front of me. I need to be ready to defend my throne.”

Demetrious Johnson, 12-time flyweight champion: “My style never changes. My style is always come-forward. And in mixed martial arts, the way I was brought up in this sport, it’s supposed to be a clash, right? A struggle. Just like in wrestling. There’s always a struggle between two human beings. So for me, I’ll just go out there and push the pace and just fight.”
