Wreck MMA: Fights for the Troops

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Planet Ink Studios and Wreck MMA are proud to announce another high level bout has been added to Wreck MMA: Fights for the Troops. The fight will be a Bantamweight top contender bout between TKO and WEC Veteran Danny Martinez (13-3) and Ottawa’s own Remi ‘Bam Bam’ Morvan (6-1). Wreck is hopeful that the winner of this fight will fight the winner of Nick Denis and Sean Quinn for the Wreck Bantamweight Title in the near future.

Both fighters come in with excellent records and are right near the top of their weight divisions in the world. This fight could easily be on a WEC event, but fortunately for the fans in Gatineau/Ottawa, it will take place at Wreck on December 12th!

Also added to the card is Iron Tiger Muay Thai’s Josh Hill who will be facing Adrenaline MMA’s Ben 'The Hitman' Jamieson. Hill impressed fans in his MMA debut in October and Jamieson comes from one of the top camps in Canada. Also coming from Adrenaline is Jesse ‘The Ghost’ Gross who will be making his highly anticipated professional debut against Alex Halkias of BTT Canada. These fighters are young and hungry and awaiting their opportunity to shine in front of Wreck fans.

Wreck MMA: Fights for the Troops is shaping up to be the most talent rich event in Gatineau/Ottawa MMA history. In addition to the fights listed above, the card also includes the main event of Fabio Holanda vs. Sean ‘The Pimp’ Pierson and the first Gracie to fight in Eastern Canada; Igor Gracie.
