WHAT: All 20 fighters will participate in the final weigh in on Friday, Oct. 14, just one day prior to the W-1: RELOADED mixed martial arts (MMA) fight card on Saturday, Oct. 15 at BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, Fla. The weigh-in is open to the public, free of charge.
Davis (20-8), a 14-time UFC veteran and contestant on the second season of Spike TV’s “The Ultimate Fighter,” will face off in the main event at welterweight (170 pounds) with another former contestant on the smash hit reality series, O’Neil. Davis is looking to notch his fourth-straight victory while O’Neil will attempt to return to the win column.
Palomino (16-7), a 30-year-old resident of Miami known for his explosive knockout power, will collide with the 28-year-old Berto (16-8-1), a submission wizard and the brother of world champion boxer Andre Berto, in the lightweight (155 pounds) co-main event.
Couture (3-5), a former police officer and the ex-wife of MMA legend Randy “The Natural” Couture, will face off with kickboxing and kung-fu expert Montero (0-0), a veteran of Chuck Norris’ World Combat League, in a preliminary card bout.
