Angeles-based Mixed Martial Arts events, The Samurai MMA Pro 2011,
live from the Culver City Veteran's Memorial Auditorium on October
21, 2011!
Featuring some of the top local MMA talent from the heavily concentrated Los Angeles area, the Samurai MMA Pro 2011 is certain to please fight fans and pundits alike. The seven-bout fight card features a main event between former The Ultimate Fighter alumni, Jaime "The Chosyn 1" Yager, and local wrecking machine Mozzy Afra! Yager, well known for his polarizing stint on SpikeTV's extremely popular TV series, will collide head first with PKG Training Center's local "Bull in a China Shop" Mozzy Afra. Expect nothing less than fireworks! In the night's co-main event, heavy-handed Waachim Spirit Wolf takes on Alaskan striker Michael Madrid in a battle of stand-up specialists. With 14 finishes between them, Spirit Wolf vs Madrid is set to be one of the most exciting fights of the night, with both men pushing for an early and violent conclusion!
In addition to seven amazing MMA fights there will also be vendors, food and beverages, and special guests aplenty. Several major MMA personalities from Kings MMA will be in attendance, including head coach Master Raphael Cordeiro, MMA and BJJ Superstar Fabricio Werdum, and former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Mauricio "Shogun" Rua.
