OVEREEM SIGNS WITH STARS SPORTS MANAGEMENT’S MMA DIVISION

the signing of MMA and kickboxing superstar Alistair Overeem. The
current Strikeforce Heavyweight champion recently made history when
he won the K-1 World Grand Prix title by becoming the only fighter
to hold a major title in both mixed martial arts and kickboxing.
Overeem was also named International Fighter of the Year at the
2010 World MMA Awards.
“Alistair Overeem is a major star and it is huge that he will be moving to Los Angeles,” said Scott Claxon, President of Stars Sports Management. “We invite potential sponsors interested in an athletic phenom like Overeem to contact us now for 2011 projects.”
