MARKHAM VS. RUDY BEARS ADDED TO TITAN FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP 18 ON MAY 27, LIVE ON HDNET




(PRESS RELEASE) -- A welterweight showdown between UFC veteran Rory Markham and Strikeforce and Bellator Fighting Championships veteran Rudy Bears has been added to Titan Fighting Championship 18 (www.TitanFighting.com) on Friday, May 27 at the historic Memorial Hall in Kansas City, KS.

The event, which will also feature former UFC lightweight champion Jens Pulver as well as a hard-hitting middleweight bout between UFC veteran Drew McFedries and undefeated Strikeforce veteran Darryl Cobb, will be televised live on HDNet (www.HD.net) starting at 10 p.m. ET.

Tickets for the event are currently on-sale at Ticketmaster.com, all local Ticketmaster outlets, and the Memorial Hall box office.

“Rory vs. Rudy has the chance to be a tremendous standup battle between two fighters who don’t know how to have a boring fight,” said Titan Fighting CEO Joe Kelly. “Combined those two with the presence of Jens, Drew, and Darryl and have a pretty impressive collection of strikers that will be represented at Titan Fighting 18 on May 27.”
