Fight Club OC OVERTIME Concept Announced For 9 Bout Card!

(PRESS RELEASE) -- For the first time in Fight Club OC's four year history they will present a huge nine bout card on Thursday, August 21st in The Hangar at the OC Fair & Event Center, and because of this big evening of fights, promoter Roy Englebrecht is introducing a Fight Club OC OVERTIME concept!

"Because we've had several major management entities in boxing, including Al Haymon, ask us to put their elite fighters on the August 21st show I didn't want to miss this opportunity to let our fans see some outstanding bouts, but of course this will increase the length of the show," said Englebrecht. "So next Thursday we will launch our first ever Fight Club OC OVERTIME concept, whereby after the sixth bout fight fans will have the option to either stay and enjoy the three OVERTIME bouts or they can just head home.

The three OVERTIME bouts will be good ones with Boston's 9-0 super middleweight prospect Ronald Ellis facing Albuquerque's tough 7-5 Siju Shabazz, and in Ellis's corner will be top trainer Freddie Roach. Fans will then see the undefeated Watts' brothers out of Palmdale with 5-0 Kevin Watts facing Detroit's 6-6 Larry Ventus in a good matchup, and Tevin Watts at 3-0 will meet a yet to be named opponent.
