All But One Make Weight at M-1 Selections 2010

(PRESS RELEASE) -- In preparation for victory, all but two fighters
participating in the M-1 Selections 2010 – Americas second round,
taking place Saturday June 26 at Bally’s Casino Hotel in Atlantic
City, have made weight for their bouts. Josh Key misses the 155
pound cut off by nearly six pounds and Wesley Welch is over by .6
of a pound.
“Even though this is a marked improvement over the first M-1 Selection event in April,” says M-1Global’s Director of Operations, Evgeni Kogan. “As professional athletes, fighters need to prepare themselves professionally – respecting their opponents, fans, promotion and the State Athletic Control Boards for enabling these opportunities.”
